At Lost Evenings Brewing Company, our mission is...
- To provide a welcoming, family-friendly environment for the local community.
- To produce exceptional beer, utilizing local ingredients whenever possible.
- To promote the appreciation of craft beer.
Lost Evenings Brewing Company is owned by Patrick & Heather Davis, 2 Kansas natives. Pat started brewing at home in 2012, and quickly became obsessed with the idea of opening a brewery. Since then we have constantly been fine tuning our recipes and practicing the art of brewing. Not long after, he joined the Johnson County Brewing Society, a local homebrewing club, and that has allowed us to meet other local brewers, get to know people who are opening other small scale breweries around the KC Metro area, and get insight into the craft beer industry as a whole. It has given us the chance to serve our beer to the general public at events such as the Kansas City Nanobrew Fest (Kansas City, MO), High Plains Brewhoff (Overland Park, KS), and Blarney Brew Off (Lee’s Summit, MO). Pat has also become a certified beer judge through the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) which has allowed us to further improve our beers.
In late 2018 we began our search for a location for the brewery. After about a year of searching (and several setbacks), we signed a lease for a space in the Westchester Shopping Center at the northeast corner of 87th & Pflumm in Lenexa, KS. We opened in June 2020, with a 3.5 BBL (108.5 gal) Blichmann electric brewing system. We have 8 taps with rotating beer styles, as well as local wine, cider, kombucha, and craft soda!
When we opened LEBC, we decided that it was our responsibility to pay our staff a fair wage; that's why you won't see a tip jar or a line on your receipt asking for a tip. Any cash tips we do receive will be periodically donated to a local charity.
